Please upload documents that verify your eligibility for a library card. Requirements vary based on your status:

Residents

  • Upload two pieces of mail showing your name and current address.

  • A photo ID

Property Owners (Non-Residents)

  • Your most recent property tax bill

  • A photo ID

  • Two pieces of mail showing your name and address

Non-Residents

  • Upload a valid photo ID.


All documents must clearly display your name and current address (where applicable). Files may be uploaded as PDF or image formats.

Library Card Application Agreement

I hereby agree to obey all the rules and regulations of the library, to pay promptly all fines charged against me for the injury or loss of books, and to give immediate notice of any change of address.

How to get started

Residents within the District

Bring two recent pieces of mail with your name and photo ID. *Complete an application at the checkout desk. *Applicants under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete and sign the application. *Resident library cards are valid for three years.

Property owners within the District (non-residents)

Bring your most recent property tax bill receipt for property owned within the District. *Bring a photo ID and two recent pieces of mail with your name and current address. *Complete an application at the checkout desk. *Patrons should apply to the Library closet to their address.

Non-residents outside the District

State law requires a non-resident fee. *The current non-resident fee is $40.00. *Non-resident cards are valid for one year. *Bring a photo ID and two recent pieces of mail with your name and current address. *Complete an application at the checkout desk. *Patrons should apply to the Library closet to their address.
