Welcome to the Westville Public Library website. The Library is a valuable community resource center, providing excellent services including reading materials, ebooks and audio books, online resources, programming, etc. as we continue to adapt to the public’s ever-changing needs and technologies.

In addition to books, our library offers music CDs and movies available for library patrons to check out.  As a member of the Illinois Heartland Library System, we are able to request items from other libraries for our patrons, further expanding the availability of materials, current as well as "golden oldies".  Computers are also available for public use.

Food for Fines:  November 2, - December 9, 2017
A program for Westville Public Library District cardholders:

You must be a Westville Library card holder to participate.  Patrons may bring to the library non-perishable food that is not past the expiration date.  Each plastic grocery bag full of food will be worth $10.00 and each paper grocery bag full of food will be worth $15.00 towards outstanding Westville Library fines only.  Charges for lost or damaged items will not be eligible.  All food collected will be donated to a local Christmas basket program for needy families.  This is a wonderful way to reduce your outstanding fines and help a family have food for Christmas dinner.
